Andymation Graphics
YouTuber Andymation reached out to commission a graphics package for his online content. Intro cards, wipes, snipes, and more! Despite using Cinema 4D and Octane, my goal was to keep it feeling like the animation was hand-rendered papercraft, stop-motion, or puppetry.

The above ‘Flipbook Friday’ intro card was fully animated and not simulated physics. Ultimately it needed to feel like something that was performed using a makeshift popsicle-stick puppet and strings. I especially loved dialing in all the secondary swinging and wobbles.
Below are a handful of alpha wipe transitions that were created to be used natively within Apple’s Final Cut Pro. Again, no simulations were used, but carefully tuned mograph systems and in some cases lower frame rates to give it that hand animated quality.
Andymation’s App was launched during the campaign, so I animated this promotional broadcast ‘snipe’ that popped up in the lower corner of content. My favorite moment how the phone suddenly comes to life in response to the Monster’s reaction. This was a fun one to animate!
